L'atmosphère y est angoissante pesante et malsaine. Avec un brin de cynisme, Devendra Banhart distille une folktronica noire, underground et enfumée, illustrant la déchéance d'un Mondo-T en pleine traversée du désert, lui qui connût très tôt la gloire et les paillettes...
Galen Pehrson déclare d'ailleurs, en expliquant ses choix artistiques pour la réalisation du clip:
“I think it’s easier to trust an animal without scrutinizing its actions”...“I think it’s something we learn while watching cartoons when we’re young. There’s often a moral undertone to them—here, it’s same idea just with more mature and complex topics.”
